From April 2023 entitlement setting will be centrally controlled by the HealthRoster Team.  Entitlements will be loaded into HealthRoster split into separate Annual Leave and Bank Holiday allocations and will be based on the employee information held in ESR.  This will ensure annual leave is separately identified and will ensure accurate payments to employees.   


Managers will see that employees now have 2 separate leave pots in HealthRoster:

Annual leave (which is eligible for AFC Average)

Bank holiday leave (which is not be eligible for AFC Average)


 

Employees will also see that the entitlement balances show separately in the Employee App


Entitlements are pro rata based on the contracted hours employees work.
