What’s changing?
From 1 April 2025, ESNEFTs Pay and Pension Team will be taking over the full pay and pension service from our current external provider, NHS Shared Business Services (SBS).
All pay and pension queries will need to be directed to the pay and pension team via the Employee Helpdesk from this date. The pay and pension team will still have access to the same information as NHS SBS and will pick up any outstanding or on-going cases at the point of transfer.
FAQs
Will the way I advise the payroll team of a pay affecting
change be changing?
As we transition the service in-house we will be making some changes to the way in which pay and pension information is requested, accessed and shared. Further information on these changes will be sent out in due course once the final details have been agreed. Managers and employees should continue to follow the current processes to advise of pay affecting changes until advised otherwise.
Will the way I access
my payslip change?
No. Payslips will still be accessed via ESR Self Service. However, if you do use the MySBS app, access will be removed from 1 April 2025. How to access ESR Self Service can be found via the ESR intranet pages here.
