KIT (Keep in Touch)  Days Update

Record KIT days on the roster using the reason ‘KIT day’ under the unavailability ‘working day’.  The maternity leave should not be ended as the KIT day is added separately over the top of the maternity leave.

To add the KIT Day double click on the date you wish to add or right click the persons name and select ‘Add Unavailability’

From the Group dropdown select ‘Working Day’ and in the Reason select ‘KIT- Keeping in Touch’.  If this is a part day you can amend the start and end time and ensure that the correct number of hours is entered in the Work Time. For Example, time worked 13:00 to 16:00 you would enter 03:00 in the Work Time.

Please ensure you raise a ticket once you have added the KIT Day to request the Maternity Leave be unlocked so that we can amend the hours of the Maternity Leave for that date.  Failure to do so will affect the Net Hours

The KIT Day will populate over the top of the Maternity Leave.

Ensure a change form has been raised via Selenity advising the dates and hours of any KIT days.   Failure to do so will mean the staff member will not be paid

KIT days can only be worked whilst the employee is officially on maternity leave. As soon as they return albeit on leave or working -KIT days no longer apply.

Should you require further information regarding this please raise a ticket with Employee Relations who have all the up to date Terms and Conditions.
