Epic readiness for managers roster for the period of 22nd September to the 19th October

Epic Readiness - Roster view for training compliance on 'go live' date

This notification is being sent to anyone with Take Charge or higher permissions within HealthRoster

The roster for the period of 22nd September to the 19th October will be put in on the 2nd of June, this roster period will have an Epic Skill attached to each shift, so that managers can see on their roster who has completed their Epic training and who still needs to complete it for the 'go live' date of 2nd October.

As a result of the shifts having the epic skill attached, staff will only be able to request days off for this roster period (unless they have completed their epic training) as they will not be able to view the shifts in loop because they will not have the required skill.

This will also mean that any autorostered patterns (Ward sisters, ward clerks for example) will fail, knowing this managers may want to wait until they know they have the skill and then autoroster after that point, if not they will have to manually add the shifts for this roster period

All shifts for members of staff who have not received their Epic training will be highlighted in orange once assigned to them with a warning attached while building the roster.

We will be updating the roster system daily with the epic skills as they are updated in ESR.

Managers should refresh the roster (22nd Sept - 19th Oct) on a daily basis by right clicking the purple roster bar and selecting "retest rules", this will refresh the roster and the anyone who has recently completed the epic training will have their shifts updated so they are green and without the warning attached.

We have received the list of staff who have undertaken the Ambassador training and this will be added to their record as a skill in the next few days.
